Exo 20:12, 33:18, 1Sam 2:30, 1Chr 16:26-27, Psalm 8:5, Esther 6:3,9, Prov 3:9, 21:21, Dan 5:18, Luke 2:9, Rom 2:7, 10, 1Tim 1:17, 2 Tim 2:20-21, 2 Pet 1:3, Rev 5:12-13, 7:11-12, 21:24. Scriptures declared God as the God of glory and honour. Yes, He is. The splendid and beauty of God is incomparable. What God is, He blessed people with it. Man was created with glory and honour. Have you asked yourself why Moses said to God “show me your glory”. Without God’s glory Moses would have experienced a humiliating defeat but with God’s glory, he enjoyed undeniable victory and success. Where there is no glory, life and its journey are full of frustration. Honour is a recognition of important. Gift is a prove of honour. Honour begets honour. Where there is glory, God is there. To honour means to esteem and treat another with respect. Honour has the sense of value, price or quality. A Christian is the glory of Christ while Jesus reflects the glory of God. God’s glory leads to praise and worship. Glory indicates God’s worth and value which results in praise. Just as gold’s value is measured by weight, God’s glory is an indicator of His value. Sometimes evidence of God’s glory is seen in the supernatural manifestation in the affairs of men in a miraculous way. A natural response to seeing miracles was to praise God and give Him glory. You are not redeemed to shame and disgrace; you are redeemed for glory and honour. Whatever that has hindered your glory and honour is removed from your life now. Your days of glory and honour is here. Rise up and enjoy the glorious destiny that God has destined for you. Glory results to freedom, integrity and lifting. May the glory of God overshadow your life. In all you do from this day, the glory of the LORD shall manifest upon them. The God of glory will glorify His name in your life
