Welcome

Being fruitful and having a flourishing life is God’s desire, command and Will for every believer in Christ. It is not something just to ask for but something to take steps to realize. It should be a lifestyle of a Christian.  Fruit is the direct result of whatever controls our hearts  Matt 15:19. The fruit of a life not surrendered to Jesus includes “sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage,” and many more evil acts Gal 5:19-20. As we commit our lives to Christ, plugged into Him, abide in Him and allow the Holy Spirit to take control of our lives, we will be characterize  by the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance { Gal 5:22 – 23},  honesty, hope,  good works Eph 2:10 Col 1:10 Titus 2:7,  humility; Eph 4:2 Titus 3:2, forgiveness  Col 3:13, Eph 4:32  godliness and kindness ;1 Tim 6:6 , 2 Pet 1:7.the fruits of righteousness; Phil 1:11, new converts as fruit ;Rom 1:13 and holiness as a fruit; Rom 6:22.   We should always be ready to “give an account for the hope we have in Christ Jesus”1 Pet 3:15. We should desire to be the “good soil” Jesus spoke of in the Parable of the sower in Matt 13:3-9. The result of spiritual fruitfulness is that God is glorified, we grow, and others come to know Christ; this is the ultimate fruitfulness for a child of God Matt 5:16 Mk 16:15 Acts 20:26-27.  Jesus made it  clear that true believers of Christ will be recognized by their fruit: “Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will know them” Matt 7:16-20 .Fruitfulness is used by Scripture as a symbol of spiritual maturity and well-being. Let us keep bearing fruit and flourish as christians in every area of our lives. Our lives should be a reflection of “Christ in us, the hope of glory” Let us take Jesus Christ to the world. Let us go on displaying His Life, love and kindness to people. The key to bearing much fruit is to ÄBIDE IN JESUS”. If we abide { trust and depend } in Him, fruit becomes natural.  Receive  Grace to abide in JESUS and produce much fruit worthy of pleasing to God in whatever you do and wherever you are.
