The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. And wisdom is profitable for direction. It is the fear of God that leads to obedience, and obedience brings you to glorious living. God requires obedience. Obedience means compliance to the ways and command of God There is no regret in obeying the Lord. Only those that are willing and obedient will eat the good of the Lord. The obedience will enjoy the fruit of the land. Isaac was a unique man of obedience which he learned from his father Abraham. His obedience to God’s command to remain in the land of Gerar ushered him into a life-time of great accomplishment despite the attacks and opposition of the philistines. Obedience cannot be substituted to any other thing. The first miracle of Jesus in Cana and other miracles that were evidence in His ministry were the effect and functions of obedience. Obey God regularly, walk in obedience and He will exalt thee. When God ask you to do something, don’t question Him, just do it, that is obedience. If you do what God asked you to do and obey Him, He will take care of you. For you to accomplish things, you got to obey God. Do what God tells you to do, don’t care what will happen. God’s army should live in obedience to God, not half-obedience but complete-obedience. If you fear God, you will surely obey Him regardless of the consequences. Do what God has told you to do, that is what obedience is. Don’t think of the consequence or whether it will work or not, just do it when He asked you to do it and how He asked you to do it and where He tells you to do it.  If you obey God, you will never regret it. You need to hear from God and do what He told you to do. It will work out to you advantage if you obey God.
