Month of Thanksgiving

Lev 22:29, 2 Sam 22:50, Ezra 3:11. Ps 50:14,69:30, 92:1-2,107:22,100:1-3, Isa 51:3. God has been good to us. Because you are alive and well, it shows that God has you in mind and has done you well. Thanksgiving to God is an expression of gratitude for His blessings, faithfulness, and love, which can be shown through praise, worship, prayer and service. It involves recognizing God as the source of all good things, giving thanks in all circumstances, and acknowledging His sovereignty and guidance in life. A heart of thankfulness is important to God because it gives Him the glory and honor due His name for who He is. Gratitude profoundly impacts one’s faith and relationship with God, thus fostering a more profound comprehension of His love and grace. A grateful heart acknowledges God’s goodness in all circumstances, which ultimately strengthens faith and fosters a closer relationship with Him. There were good and bad things that happened but you are still standing and pressing on. Nurturing a thankful heart is pivotal in our relationship with God. Practicing prayerful thanksgiving, focusing on God’s attributes, and serving others in gratitude are practical ways to nurture a grateful attitude and grow closer to God. Giving thanks if truly understood should be our way of living. Think of the good things that happened to you. We all have a multitude of things to thank God for. The life you have is a wonderful gift from God. Remember only the living has part of what is happening here on earth. Those who have left this world have no more portion here on earth but you have much to accomplish. Even if you experienced downfall, disappointments, tragedies and any other tough situations, there is still great hope for you. Things can still turn around in your life. Be thankful that you are still alive. Every expression of gratitude in word and deed is owed to the Giver, the Lord Jesus Christ and has great positive impact to those who acknowledge it. Gratitude enhances our relationship with God and it helps us acknowledge His active presence in our lives. It functions as a glue that connects us to Him, strengthening our faith and our capacity to experience joy and appreciate things we might otherwise overlook. Let us live a lifestyle “Thank You” 1 Thess 5:18, Heb 13 :15, Jer 30:19
