Month of Holiness, Purity and Sanctification

Lev 11:44-45, 20:26, 21:8, Exo 19:10, Deut 7:6, Isa 58:11, Lk 1:74-75, Jn 17:17, Rom 1:4, Rom 6:18-19, 22 Rom 12:1-2, 1 Cor 1:2, 6:9-11, Eph 4:24, 1 Thess 4:3-4,7, 5:23, 1 Tim 4:12, 2 Tim 2:20-21, Heb 2:11, 10:10, 12:14, 1 Pet 1:15-16, Jude 1:1-3.  God is the Holy God. He cannot be put in line with other “little gods”. He is the creator of heaven and earth. Every act of God is embedded in His Holiness. God cannot be affected by unholy things. The strength and glory of every believer is dependable on living Holy and sanctified life. God does not tolerate unholy living. That’s why He empathically commanded His own people both in the Old Testament and New Testament ” It is written be Holy for I am Holy”. You cannot change what God has written as a standard to  “seeing His glory” According to Hebrew 12:14: only the Holy shall see God. Do you want to see God in every area of your life, family, children, business, desires etc this year? Holiness is what is demanded from you. An immoral lifestyle must give way to Holiness so that you can see God at work in all areas of your life. The word “sanctification” means “separation to God…the separation of the believer from evil things and ways to God”. Holiness is not just for some people in the body of Christ; it is God’s will for every one of His children. Purity is a power booster. It is living a life of integrity and honesty. We were not saved by our holiness but after God has saved us by His grace, we are to live a holy and sanctified life by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is consecrating and dedicating our lives to God in every aspect. Holy Living is God’s will.
